marriott bonvoy
Creative leadership, editorial art direction and design oversight for the inaugural print issue of Marriott Bonvoy Traveler.
Marriott Bonvoy Traveler brought the curiosity of travel into print, connecting destinations with the food, culture and experiences that make people want to go. When I joined the inaugural issue, much of the work was underway, but significant sections remained unfinished and stakeholders were not yet aligned.
My role was to bring it together. Working with editor-in-chief Robin Bennefield and designer Oeun Kwon, I resolved design issues, guided image selection and helped align the editorial, design and stakeholder perspectives around a cohesive finished publication.
The challenge was to give a wide range of stories a shared editorial identity without flattening their differences. Through hands-on art direction and close design oversight, I helped carry the issue from an incomplete collection of features to a consistent Marriott Bonvoy reading experience.
