Midnight Rodeo Stout
Naming and creative direction for a Hill Country × Lord Hobo stout collaboration.
Midnight Rodeo Stout was created as the darker counterpart within the Hill Country Barbecue Market and Lord Hobo Brewing Co. collaboration. The name brought together the beer’s depth and after-dark character with Hill Country’s connection to live music, nightlife and Texas culture.
Where Boot Bar Lager was bright, immediate and playful, Midnight Rodeo called for something moodier and more atmospheric. A near-black palette, warm amber color and expressive lettering gave the package the feeling of a late-night neon sign or a well-worn concert poster.
