Brand strategy, identity and launch system for Razza Pizza Artigianale, one of the world’s best pizza spots.

Razza

Razza was created as a new kind of neighborhood restaurant: artisanal in its approach, uncompromising about ingredients and warm enough to become the local corner place. The identity needed to express that commitment without relying on familiar Italian restaurant conventions.

The strategic platform, Simple & Distinctive, centered on authenticity, honesty and a constant quest for the best. The resulting identity paired a straightforward wordmark with an elemental visual system that felt crafted, confident and immediately recognizable.

Created for the restaurant’s original launch, the system extended across menus, stationery, exterior signage, awnings, staff apparel and guest-facing collateral. Each application reinforced the same direct, unpretentious character as the food and hospitality.
